The VATAT Memo of Understanding was created to ensure that teachers and school administrators understand the committment it takes to be a VATAT Board member and/or officer.

Individuals planning to run for VATAT Secretary/Treasurer must complete and turn in the Officer Memo of Understanding prior to running for office at the Agriculture Teachers Conference. The Memo must be turned in during the VATAT Board meeting. Only current Board members are eligible to run for office. 

The Board Memo of Understanding is not required but it is highly reccomended that Areas utilize this document to ensure that individuals understand the committment it takes to be a member of the VATAT Board of Directors.
