The 2008 agriculture teachers conference will be hosted by the VATAT for the first time ever! Your Association has been hard at work to provide the best workshops, tours and speakers to enhance teachers' professional development experience. In addition, the VATAT is now authorized to grant continuing professional education credits, so teachers can still utilize the conference to keep their certification up-to-date. Texas Agricultural Science Leadership Institute - The 1st Annual Leadership Institute will take place this summer in conjunction with the 2008 VATAT Conference in Corpus Christi. The Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas (VATAT) is a professional organization for agriculture science teachers and supporters of agriculture education. The VATAT is an organization dedicated to member services. The Association informs agriculture teachers about the latest agricultural education practices, encourages higher standards of teaching agriculture and provides agriculture education a unified voice in the state legislature.
