The VATAT Mentor Program is one of the most important activities that can help a new teacher achieve success. Being a mentor is a commitment that will take time and energy to fulfill. You should not have to forfeit success in your program to be a successful mentor. Being able to manage your time is the single most important trait that will allow you to accomplish this. The following document is a list of characteristics a teacher should have to be a mentor. In order to be a mentor, you will need to complete this agreement form and return it to the VATAT office.
