2010 TSFA Scholarship for Texas Ag Science High School Teachers

The Texas State Florists’ Association (TSFA) will award ten scholarships in the amount of $1,225 to ten qualifying high school teachers to obtain the Texas Master Florists Designation through the Texas State Florists’ Association. The program is funded by the “Specialty Crop Block Grant Program administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture." The scholarship must be used to obtain the Texas Master Florist designation and includes the TCF Qualifying Exam, nine online courses, three hands-on workshops and the Texas Master Florist exam.
Any Texas Agriculture Science Teacher may apply for the scholarship to attend the TSFA Texas Master Florist Program providing he/she meets the criteria established by the Texas Certified Florists Program. The scholarship must be utilized prior to September 2011.

Texas Certified Florist Classes and TMF Exam will be held in conjunction with the
Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association’s Conference in Galveston, Texas July 26, July 28 and July 29, 2010.
