Seeking teacher for AFNR and/or Architecture and Construction.

CPCISD wants a motivated candidate that will rigorously teach in the classroom and lead in the shop.

Certification in AFNR and/or Technology Education Certification or Trade and Industry Certification.  Candidate will also be required to become a certified instructor in areas necessary to deliver instruction for student certifications.

Class B CDL with endorsements for operating a school bus or ability to obtain soon after employment is required.

Applicant will be expected to maintain facilities, equipment and technology related to teaching assignment.

Applicant will be expected to serve as SkillsUSA Advisor and FFA Advisor, if properly certified.

The FFA Chapter participates in LDE, CDE, ag mech project shows, local & major dairy and beef heifer shows, local county market show, camps, conventions and other meetings.  FFA members also actively participate in FFA awards program. 

Students in the Architecture and Construction courses participate in SkillsUSA.  They compete at the district and state competitions with woodshop projects and in skills contests.
